·        Steve changed the way I look at finding my career because he talked about how when you find the right job you will know and I believe he is very right and  now I am just very excited to find that one career that is out their waiting for me.

·         Alison is a American professor of psychology at the university of California. She specializes in theory of mind and casual thinking.

·        The main point Alison is making was that babies have a more extraordinary mind than any other animal, they are learning machines

·        I am excited because I think babies are very smart and people may think they are not but they learn a lot by just looking at something

·        The talker has changed the way I look at babies, now I am going to look at them and always wonder what they are learning and thinking about.

·        The main point that the presenter was making was a story with their body's, the extraordinary way that they bend and stood on each other's bodies was breath taking. The story that they made with just moving was amazing.

·        I am excited about this ted talk because I was a dancer and I have never seen something so amazing before.

·        The presenter changed the way I look at the human body, I thought the human body could never do the things that these two people did in their performance. The women would stand on the man's head and I thought it was amazing to watch.

·        The one image that I will take with me is when the women stood on the man's side of his body and the man walked around, it was incredible to see.

·        Dean was born on April 5th,1951, he is an American inventor. Dean invented the segway a self balancer that is computer controlled.

·        The main point that he made was that he made a prosthetic arm that can pick up a grape with your index finger and thumb.

·        I am excited about this ted talk because it will give a chance for people that do not have a arm to pick things up with their fingers again.

·        He changed the way I look at my arms, I am so lucky to have a both arms and both legs, and he changed the way I look at technology.

·        The one image that I will take with me is when the man put on the arm and he looked very sophisticated and happy because he could pick up a pencil again.

·        I am excited about this ted talk because I am a doodler myself and I love too doodle.

·        She has changed the way I view doodling and drawing on my paper because I thought that when I did that I was never listening but now I now that I will be.

·        The sentence that I will take with me is that when you doodle you retain a lot more thoughts then when you just listen.

·        I am excited about this video because I love to see people doing what they love and have a passion for.

·        He has changed the way I view Rockets and space craft because it never seemed important to me but it feels a lot more important now that I had a chance to see it.

·        When I saw this video I got very excited because I think that these shows are very sill myself, and just to know that someone out there is basing their career on this to try and change it makes me feel great.

·        He has changed the way I view all technology because I used to think all of it was bad but now I know that technology can take something useless and turn it into a piece of art.

1. What was confirmed for you today; what did you already know?

~Life was confirmed for me today, just the thought of being here and living on on this world makes me very proud to say i love living, and am very honoured to have the chance to live like every day is a new adventure. 

~I know that i am suppose to do something that will help another human being or livening creature. MY job on this earth is to teach.

2. What is the word of the day? Why did you choose this word?

~The word of the day for me is "peace" 

~I chose this word today because i think that peace is more than just a word, but a act. 

i think that man kind has forgotten what peace means, its not just a symbol  we make with our fingers in a picture but a word that can change the world. Peace could  change a persons life. Peace isn't only just about the stopping of war but it is also about making a child's, animals, women's, man's life better in harmony of love.

3. What surprised you in your learning today?

~Movement surprised me in my learning today because I went to go see a movement play with my drama class, and the way that the actors expressed their feelings in movement with no talking was very well done.  It just made me think "what id our world was like that" and for the rest of the night I was thinking this to myself and trying to come up with some answers. What I saw and learned that day in the play was very knowledgeable and fun.

4. What changes are you going to make from what you have learned?

~The changes that I am going to make in my life is to relate to drama as more of a expression rather then just reading a script and memorizing it. I am also going to try and change the way I view my every day life style, the way we all go on with life is like a script. But I am just going to move my way on threw life and try to dodge every obstacle that gets in my way with a softer take.

5.What connections have you made with your own life?

~The connection that I have made with my own life is that I am to negative and hard on myself. I connected this because I always feel down. Recently I have tried a new technique to make yourself love who you are as a person. This technique involves putting sticky notes on what make you love yourself.

6.What questions are you left with?

~The question that I am left with is why do some humans have it better than others?

~The other question that i have for the world is how many people believe that we picked our parents, are own life, are own sex, colour. Is life like a story book or is it all new as you grow?

1. The thing that was confirmed with me today was that you never stop learning even if you are 110 years old, there is always something to learn.


The thing that I already knew was that school really isn't the only place that you can learn from.

2. The word of the day is family, I chose this word today because i believe that family is very important and it is important to me. I think about this word a lot because I am always thinking about the great family I have with all my pets and parents.

3. The biggest thing that surprised me in my learning today was that I taught my mom and dad something that they never knew or never heard of, so for once I was the teacher.

The connections That I made to my own life is that people must teach everyone across the world as much as I learn in one day.

4. The changes that i will make to my own life is that I will teach more people what I have learned in a day so that they can learn it too.

1. The thing that was confirmed for me today is that dogs are very protective animals of their homes, owners, and young children they might not know. I already knew that my dog was very protective of her home and her family but i did not know that she would be protective of a child she didn't know.

2. The word of the day is family, i chose this word because i just got back from seeing my family on Christmas and i forgot how much they all mean to me.

3. The thing that surprised me the most in my learning today was that no matter who or what is near my dog will always protect me and sometimes even others.

4. The changes I am going to make is that i am going to teach my dog more about family and how to protect.

5 Videos I wish the world to see

 I chose this video because I wanted to show the meaning of friendship. I believe that the meaning of friendship isn't only just to have a friend, it means that everyone can be Friends with each other. It doesn't matter if you are in different groups from each other every one in this world is a person no one should have labels like: "nerd", "popular", "geek", "dolphin", "dog".

 I chose this video because the teens that go into these prisons often change their ways of life. I think that every teen good or bad should have to watch this episode at least once in their life time just to see what jail is really like.

I chose this movie because I believe that everyone has a little Forest Gump in their life, this movie represents a man that doesn't care about what people say, he loves him self and people love him, that is all that matters to Forest, and in this movie he made a real impact on the world and peoples lives.

I chose this movie because this is what are world could come to one day if people don't understand the true meaning of our world and how important it is. In this movie the people that used to live on the earth now are very obese because they have machine's that do everything for them, lets not let that happen to our world. This movie is defiantly an eye opener.

I chose this video because the way these moms are brainwashed into making their daughter's look beautiful is really disturbing, some of the girls that do pageants are only 4. I think that everyone should watch this video or one of the videos from toddlers and tiara's or other sources and just think about what mothers and fathers are doing to these children, how are these kids going to act when they are older?

Your Life Is Over

If my life was over, and I could only take one memory in a box with me I would chose the time me and my family picked up my puppy from the airport. I would choose this memory because we were all so excited and happy. Just waiting in the airport  for a new family member gave me chills down my spine. I remember looking out the big window of the building, seeing the planes wheels hit the ground roughly. As soon as I saw the plane come to a stop, I ran over to my mother and father and stood waiting anxiously for the doors to open. There she was, at the back of the big gray cold kennel she lied there shaking and shivering. As i reached my arm in to try to pick her up she moved more towards the back of the chilly kennel. My hand clung to her cold body as I pulled her out of the cage genitally her big white paws grabbed onto my warm shoulders and she stopped shaking, as my mom and dad gathered around me we all new we had a long night ahead of us.

The Way I Want To Live My Life

The way I would like to live my life is to help and rescue animals. I want to live my life like this because I have a great passion for animals, and I would like to help them anyway I can. I would like to get into animal CSI then become a animal control officer. Then once I have my career in order I would like to travel and help animals in other countries as well.

I would never...

1. I would never tell another human being that they couldn't do something they wanted to do because it doesn't matter if you cant do math or you aren't good at the arts. Once you find something you love doing you can do anything to succeed in that path.

2. I would never take away the object that a human being sleeps with because I still sleep with my purple bear Lucy and I am almost 17 years old. It doesn't matter how old you are if you still have you favorite sleep partner.

3. I would never tell another human being that they are to old to play with toys, because a toy does not give away how old you are, it gives away if you have an imagination or not.

4. I would never say to another human being "I hope you die" because what if they did end up dyeing that night or that day, the regret and guilt that you as a person would have would be awful. 


5. I would never judge a human being on love at a young age because I know that I have felt love when I was young. Love isn't something that you develop as you get older, it is something that is put into your heart at day one.

Favourite Educational YouTube Videos

This is my 1st favourite YouTube video because it shows the world that young kids even teens are being bullied everyday. Some kids are lucky and don't have to face the bullying but some kids are not. The world should know whats really going on and that is why i chose this video. 


I chose this You Tube video as my 2nd choice because this man has no arms and legs but still he could be the happiest man alive. He is just so grateful to be alive here today. The reason this video means so much to me is because when I am thinking that my life sucks I just think how grateful he is and it makes me think about how grateful I am as well. 

Ted Talks

I chose this Ted Talk video because I am a doodler myself, and a lot of teachers get mad at their students when they are doodling, until i met Ms. Knittle that is. In Sunni's video she implies that when a person is doodling they are actually taking in more information because they are working the four parts of their brain.

I chose this second Ted Talk video because I really do think that we as human beings consume way to much "stuff". It is so true, do you really need that shirt with the lion in it? if  more people were to ask them selves that every time they went out shopping, this world might change just enough for us to live in it again.

I chose thisTed Talk as my third video because I believe that there is life other than humans in this world. This Talk is very interesting and it makes you think further than just your life here on earth.

I chose this website because my cousin Paige is a lucimia survivor and the doctors told her mother and father that she wouldn't make it past nine with the kind of cancer she had because no other child ever has. Well she did make it past nine and I know that she will be in my future much longer than that, and so will my dad.

Completely Fearless

If I were a completely fearless person, I would go bungee jumping. It looks so fun, but i am so afraid of hights. This bungee jumping fun is in whistler. A lot of my friends have been to whistler and done this activity. But I just can not get my self to build enough strength to do this. I also want to go to whistler to snowboard or ski, but that seems pretty scary to me as well. Gliding on a huge snowy mountain with trees and people in your way just does not shout out safe to me. If I were a wealthy fearless person, I would go bungee jumping everyday of my life. Just the way your stomach must jolt up into your throat and then fall way back down and plop into its place again must feel amazing. The thoughts that go racing through your mind as you are gliding through the soft breezes of the wind must be dreadfully realistic. I want to go bungee jumping in whistler because I want to feel the wind whip through me hair, and the blood rushing to the tips of my fingers, but I know that I am not a completely fearless person.

If I were to be given $30,000 to give to three charities, the three that I would give the money to are:  Wildlife Contorl statuary, Canadian Cancer Society, and SPCA These three charities mean a lot to me because they all have meanings in my life. I picked these charities because I think that all these charities could make a big difference in our world if they had the help from us.  Wildlife Control center is a great charity because they take animals that have lots their mother or a grown animal that is injured and cannot go out into the wild again. A lot of the times they do get to rescue then train them to go back into the wild and when they can that makes the wildlife center very happy. I would donate to this charity because animals are my life. This charity does a lot of good for animals with out a home, food mother, or injured.

Canadian Cancer Society is a great research plant for cancer, and they also have a great volunteering and donation fund. I would donate some of the money to this charity because my father and my cousin had cancer and my grandmother died from cancer as well. This is a special charity because I really want scientist to find a vaccination for cancer someday because it is a awful thing and it takes a lot of wonderful people away.

SPCA is a great foundation because it saves a lot of neglected, abused, starving, stray animals. That is very important to me because animals have a big place in my heart, and they make me a better person. I love this organization because help them with a lot of up coming events and me a my family donate to this charity all the time.

If I had 30,000 dollars I would donate to these three charities because I care, and in the end it will only make me a better person and you never know it could change the world someday.

Proudest Moment

My proudest moment would be when I finally got my dog. I love and cherish this moment because my puppy Molly is my everything. I love how she protects me and makes me feel safe, and the way she gets along with all my cats is wonderful. I am so proud to take my dog for walks and teach her new tricks. Molly is defiantly my proudest moment.
